Service Description

A basic dental cleaning, also known as dental prophylaxis, is a preventive dental procedure aimed at maintaining oral health and preventing dental issues. It involves the removal of plaque, tartar (hardened plaque), and stains from the teeth and gums. During this dental cleaning, the RDHAP will gently scrape away the buildup of plaque and tartar that cannot be effectively removed through regular brushing and flossing. After scaling, the teeth are polished to remove surface stains and create a smooth, polished surface that resists plaque buildup. Prophylactic dental cleaning is typically recommended every six months as part of routine dental care. (if you have insurance please bring card with you)
